One of the fundamental principles of the Rules of Golf is that you play the course as you find it. This lesson explores what that really means: what are the areas of the course and how are they treated differently? What specifically are you not allowed to change and what actions are always allowed in order to play the game? You’ll see that playing the course as you find it doesn’t always mean the same thing depending on where you are on the course and what you’re trying to do.
