PGA/USGA Workshop Description
- Three-day workshop
- Access to either the 100-Question or 80-Question Exam on the morning of the fourth day (or online on a date you select from the exam schedule, available here.)
- Access to the Virtual Rules School video recordings
Attendance
- Be sure to sign in on the official class roster at the start of all morning and afternoon sessions each of the first three days.
- PGA of America members must enter their PGA eight-digit member number next to their name on the attendance roster and attend the workshop in its entirety to be credited with 24 Professional Development Requirement hours. No partial credit is given by the PGA of America.
Dress Code
Business casual recommended.
Hotel Information
- $159/night – a limited block of rooms is being held for workshop attendees at this rate. If you intend to stay at this hotel during the workshop, it is strongly recommended you make your reservation a soon as possible. If all rooms in the block become reserved, additional rooms may not be available at this or a higher rate. On January 23, 2024, any unreserved rooms will be released back into hotel inventory.

Breakfast and Refreshments
A complimentary continental breakfast, including at least one hot item, will be provided each morning starting by 7:10 a.m. During scheduled breaks, complimentary coffee, tea, water and soft drinks will be provided.
Expenses

About Your Instructors

John Morrissett, USGA
John is the Competitions and Marketing Director at Erin Hills in Wisconsin. He was on staff at the USGA for 17 years in the Rules department and currently serves as a consultant to the Rules of Golf Committee. He has officiated at many national championships, including the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, and Players Championship and is the Rules Chair of the Wisconsin State Golf Association. John has taught more than 60 PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshops.

Teddy Antonopoulos, PGA
A Class A PGA Golf Professional for the past 40 years, Ted Antonopoulos is the Senior Vice Chairman of the PGA of America Rules Committee and is also a USGA Volunteer Committee Member. For the past 22 years, Ted has served as the Head Golf Professional at Mayacama Golf Club and now enjoys his role as the Club’s Honourary Golf Professional.
Ted has been an active Rules Official throughout his career and currently works an average of 12 to 15 tournaments/championships each year, including those conducted by the USGA, NCAA, PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA, The Masters Tournament, PGA of America, The Ryder Cup and The Solheim Cup Matches. This is Ted’s 7th season as a PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshop Instructor.

Kelsey Solan, USGA
Kelsey joined the USGA in August 2016 as a Rules of Golf Associate. She currently serves as Senior Manager, Rules – Technology, Content & Education, where she assists with digital engagement on the Rules. Prior to joining the USGA, Kelsey graduated from James Madison University with a degree in integrated science and technology, in addition to being a four-year letter winner on the Women’s Golf team.
