Round 3, Question 3 - Stray Ball

the stroke made at the stray ball is cancelled and, because the player found his original ball within three minutes of having begun search for it, he must continue play of the hole with the original ball and without penalty (no penalty strokes).

Because he put the stray ball into play under the stroke-and-distance penalty, he must continue play of the hole with that ball and abandon the original ball (three penalty strokes total).
