PGA/USGA Workshop Description
- Three-day workshop
- Access to either the 100-Question or 80-Question Exam on the morning of the fourth day (or online on a date you select from the exam schedule, available here.)
- Access to the Virtual Rules School video recordings
Attendance
- Be sure to sign in on the official class roster at the start of all morning and afternoon sessions each of the first three days.
- PGA of America members must enter their PGA eight-digit member number at registration or next to their name on the attendance roster and attend the workshop in its entirety to be credited with 24 Professional Development Requirement hours. No partial credit is given by the PGA of America.

- $208/night (includes parking & no resort fee; parking $19/day otherwise) – a limited block of rooms is being held for workshop attendees at this rate. If you intend to stay at this hotel during the workshop, it is strongly recommended you make your reservation a soon as possible. If all rooms in the block become reserved, additional rooms may not be available at this or a higher rate. On January 31, 2025, any unreserved rooms will be released back into hotel inventory.

Breakfast and Refreshments
A complimentary continental breakfast, including at least one hot item, will be provided each morning starting by 7:10 a.m. During scheduled breaks, complimentary coffee, tea, water and soft drinks will be provided.
Expenses

About Your Instructors
David Staebler, USGA
David Staebler oversaw the development and updating of the PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshop presentations and the Rules examinations given in coordination with those workshops from 2007 until his retirement from the USGA’s Rules Department in 2023. Also during that period, he took a variety of Rules responsibilities at 52 USGA national championships, plus the Walker Cup, Curtis Cup, PGA Championship, the Open Championship (also known as the British Open) and the LPGA International Crown. Since his retirement, he has remained active in Rules by officiating with the American Junior Golf Association, NCAA Division I men’s and women’s golf, GAP (formerly the Golf Association of Philadelphia) and also in a Rules education role with GAP.
Teddy Antonopoulos, PGA
Ted is a Class “A” Member of the PGA of America and currently serves as the Senior Vice Chair of the PGA of America Rules Committee. A PGA Professional for the past 43 years, Ted is now the Golf Professional Emeritus at Mayacama Golf Club in Sonoma County, California. In addition to serving on the PGA of America Rules Committee, Ted is also a USGA Volunteer Committee Member. He has been an active Rules Official for most of his career, working an average of 12 to 15 events per year, including those conducted by the USGA, NCAA, PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA, The Masters Tournament, PGA of America, Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup Matches, and most recently, the Women’s Olympic Golf Competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic games. This is his 8th season as an Instructor of PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshops.
Jason Mills, PGA
Jason Mills is originally from Arlington, MA, just outside of Boston and has been a member of the PGA of America Rules Committee since 2021. He is entering his third season as the Director of Golf at Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that, Jason served as the Head Golf Professional at Congressional Country Club for five years. He and his wife Mary have a two year old daughter and a one year old son.
